Fractional COO Work - What this covers:

Hands-on operations build, without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire. I work part-time across your operation, rolling up my sleeves to stabilize road to production, build supplier relationships, run hiring processes and implement the systems your team will own permanently.

Examples of my contributions:

  • Hardware development process definition and improvement
  • Ops team hiring — scoping roles, running process, onboarding
  • Quality concept definition and implementation
  • Hardware customer service concept and improvement
  • Supplier risk management and strategic partnerships
  • Smooth stepy-by-step handover to permanent hire or internal team
Day-to-Day operation is handled jointly with your already existing program manager and working students.

Full-Time Interim Operation Leadership - What this covers:

Full-time operational leadership for the window between investment and a permanent ops team. I step in as your full operations lead running the floor day-to-day, making decisions, keeping production on track — while simultaneously building the team structure that will replace me.

The goal is never dependency. It's to create something that works without me, faster than you'd get there alone. This includes:

  • All work listed for Fractional COO 
  • Day-to-day operations ownership from day one
  • Agile management implementation and execution & cross-functional team coordination (engineering, finance etc)
  • Full handover to permanent team with documentation and continuous sparring/mentoring the leadership team

As your company grows, your role changes — whether you planned for it or not. From builder to leader is a real transition and most founders navigate it alone, in the middle of everything else. I work alongside you through that shift.

This runs in parallel to operations work or as a standalone engagement. Confidential, direct, as per your individual needs. I ask the questions you don't have time to ask yourself and help you think through the ones that matter most right now.
